Betty Jo Batts

Betty Jo Batts, 82, of Victoria passed away Monday, February 17, 2014. She was born February 17, 1932, in Vienna, Texas to the late Cummings and Clara Henry Davenport. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was also a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Powell and husband, Dale of Victoria; son, Roy Batts and wife, Karel of Houston; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Shelby M. Batts; daughter, Nancy Rush; and brothers, Roy Willis Davenport and Eddie Lee Davenport.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Devon Barnett, Cole Brannan, Alec Sanchez, Dale Powell, John Rush, Matt Rush and Trey Rush.
