Alice Joyce Stolz

Alice Joyce Stolz, 83 of Houston passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011. She was born April 14, 1928 in Texas City, Texas to the late Ben F. Janecek, Sr. (1978) and Alvina Lesikar Janecek (1947). She was a housewife and a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Houston.

Survivors include her daughter, Danise E. Polasek of Houston; son, Mark W. Stolz of Houston; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Blake Stolz and Michelle Nicole Polasek.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Milo Stolz(2005); a daughter, Sharon Stolz (1952) and brother, Ben F. Janecek, Jr.

The family will welcome visitors on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 7-8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel in Victoria, Texas. The funeral service will be at 10AM on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Wirtley officiating with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark Stolz, Blake Stolz, Roy Polasek, Michelle Polasek and Matthew Wells.

Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Houston or First English Lutheran Church in Victoria.
