Aguida C. Luna

Aguida C. Luna, 88, of Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013. She was born February 6, 1925 in Las Cruces, NM to the late Juan Perez and Anita Cabrera Perez. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Bloomington, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard Luna Sr. of Bloomington; step-sons: Leonard Luna, Jr., and Richard Hinojosa (Debbie); sisters, Consuelo Romero and Teresa Torres; brother, Albert Cabrera, all of California; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rosa Ana Escalera; stepson, John E. Luna; and brothers, Gustavo Molasco and Joe Cabrera.

A Rosary will be recited 7:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Bloomington with Rev. Samuel Appiasi officiating. Burial will follow at San Jose Cemetery, Bloomington, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Luna, Bobby Luna, Larry Luna, Raymond Luna, Ernest Luna and David Luna.
