Always in fashion, with hair done till the end, and earrings on, she gave new meaning to the term "shop till you drop or till your hip seizes up"!
Waiting to welcome her are her parents, Giovanni Petruccelli and Marietta di Falco, her sister Eleanor Stacey and brother Joe Petruccelli. Yola had a positive attitude and much determination. She was an inspiration to all as she enjoy ed every day despite major physical challenges. Without complaint, she focused on the future. She felt she hit the jackpot when she moved to Parry Place. As the longest time resident, she was always happy to be involved in daily activities such as crafts and discussions. With her background in restaurant ownership, she quickly became "head food critic". Yola appreciated the excellent care and warm atmosphere provided, and cherished the friendships made there. All contributed to the enjoyment of her final years.
The family wishes to express gratitude to all at Parry Place who helped to make Yola's life more comfortable. Special thanks to Dr. Ted Rosenberg and his Home Team who provided outstanding medical care. As a proud resident of Hamilton, Yola will return home for her celebration of life at a future date to be announced.
