 I am so sorry to hear that Walter had passed away.  I am glad I saw him when I did, only weeks ago at Church! He had to evaluate my reading at Sacred Heart.  He was my mentor in the radio business; often telling me to not go into radio as it didn't pay enough money! I saw him only two weeks ago at Sacred Heart.

    Walter was in the Navy until 1947, and then went to Toronto and studied at the Lorne Greene Broadcast school.

    He was married before he left the Navy and worked at CJVI with Mavis!  By 1968, he was the Program Director at C-FAX hiring Barry Bowman.

    When I met him he was at CFMS in 1975, and I was doing some reporting for him then.

    Sorry to hear about this.  Rest in Peace Walter.
