Shirley was born in Vancouver, BC, eldest daughter of George and Mildred Cornelius. Her husband, George Sinclair passed away in Victoria on September 24, 2005 they had nearly 49 years of marriage together.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Helen Riske, and Shirley’s three children. Eldest son, George Garth (wife Nancy (Rigaud, PQ); daughters Feylyn & Stephanie (Calgary). Son Gordon (Whitehorse) & daughter, Elaine Schofield (husband; son, Alexander, daughter, Emily, and son, Sam).
Shirley worked all her life as a secretary, both in the BC government and School District 61. She was also a life member of Ruth Chapter 22, Order of the Eastern Star, Saanichton, BC. Special thanks to Dr. Milliken and the wonderful nursing staff at VGH South 7B who provided caring support & comfort in her last moments.
