Sharon passed away peacefully July 13, 2024 at the age of 84 years.
Sharon was born in Victoria, BC. Sharon grew up in Sooke and with her husband Jim raised their two children and had established strong roots in Sooke. Sharon volunteered her time with the Sooke Lions Club, Sharon also had a passion and great talent in sewing and quilting.
Sharon is predeceased by her husband Jim Dunn, parents Ronald and Thelma Reid, and her brothers Michael and Kevin Reid.
Sharon is survived by her two children Marty (Christine) and Lauren, grandchildren Kyle, Ryan (Avalon), Tyler, Jacob, Blair (Amanda) and Megan, great grandchildren Athena and Finley, two sisters Colleen (Bud) and Maureen, and 5 nieces and nephews.
Sharon fought long and hard battling COPD and in the last couple years dementia. The family thanks all the doctors and nurses at the priory care home for their dedication, professionalism and support in caring for our mother.
