Bob died peacefully after a long and bravely fought battle with Primary Progressive Aphasia.
He was a good and faithful husband, father and grandfather who will be immeasurably missed by his loving and devoted wife of sixty−four years, Lani, sons Robert and Gregory (Leni) and grandson Cameron.
Bob’s primary legacy is as a gifted pianist. When a young person, he studied with the London and Toronto Music Conservatories, passing some of his exams with "honors". He played the most glorious classical piano which helped develop in his family a lasting love of music. He was able to repair/build anything and was often called upon by his family to doso. He loved the natural world and with his family, camped throughout B.C. In later years Bob and Lani enjoyed many trips to Hawaii and Europe.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ryan Liebscher, the home nursing team and the Saanich Peninsula Palliative Care Ward for their outstanding care and kindness.
"Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweetprince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."
