October 5, 1960 – March 25, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of an incredible Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Bob passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, surrounded by love.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Melody, daughter Carla (Tyler), son Bryan (Cora), and his sisters Donna, Ann, Brenda(Shaun) and Sister in law Maureen(Larry). He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Kendra (Dillon), Emily, Ty, Rheya, Nolan, and Holly, as well as to his cherished granddog Mila and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Born in Burnaby, BC, and raised in the communities of Oceanfalls and Chemainus, BC. Bob spent his childhood making treasured memories with his parents (Jack and Audrey) and sisters—singing songs, putting on theatre shows, and heading out on countless hunting, fishing, and camping adventures. Those golden days of laughter and exploration stayed with him always, etched into the fabric of who he was. In 1979, he met the love of his life, Melody, and the two were married in 1982. Together, they raised two wonderful children. From dance recitals to hockey games, graduations to lake days, Bob cherished every moment of fatherhood and later embraced grandfather hood with open arms.
Family was the center of Bob’s world. His love and devotion knew no bounds, and he found his greatest joy in the laughter and togetherness of those closest to him. His best friend Darell was a constant presence over the years.
Bob’s heart belonged at the lake. Summer days on the boat, evenings by the fire, and quiet moments watching his family grow were his greatest treasures. His favorite sound was the laughter of those he loved and pounding rain on the trailers tin roof.
Bob's legacy is one of love, laughter, and lasting memories. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
