Pritam Kaur Nijjar

Predeceased by her husband Gurmail in 2019, they were married for 71 years. They are survived by daughters, Bindy (Chinda), Jinder (Gurbi), Ravi (Raj) and Perminder (Rinku), siblings, several nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pritam moved from India at the age of 26 with her husband and settled on Vancouver Island, in Lake Cowichan, BC, where they started a family. The family moved to Duncan, BC in 1979, from there she and Gurmail moved to Central Saanich, BC, in 2010.

The family would like to thank all the physicians and staff at the Peninsula Hospital.

A funeral service for Pritam will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:00 am at First Memorial Funeral Services & Garden of Memories, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC. Following the Service, a prayer will be held at the Victoria Sikh Temple, 1210 Topaz Avenue, Victoria, BC.
