Patricia Trix Boyd

Born in The Netherlands April 3, 1946 Trix immigrated to Canada as a young girl with her family. Father Paul Schilte and siblings Peter (Anne), Josephine (Dave) and Frank (Carolyn) all predeceased.

Trix was the beloved mother of Amos (Kim). She was extremely proud of him and she lit up whenever she spoke of his many accomplishments.

Predeceased by husband Tom of 32 years. They made many wonderful memories together traveling the world and eventually settling on her much loved Vancouver Island.

Trix was an extremely gifted artist and enjoyed a successful career in graphic arts. Her passion however was painting. Her generosity showed no bounds, sharing her many beautiful paintings.

She had a large extended family that will miss Aunty Trix everyday. She never forgot a birthday or special event always sending a card.

It is not often that life brings us someone a special as Trix. She was a friend to everyone she met. Her friends were very special to her. She is deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her most notably Amy, Connie, Peter and Sandra.

Her talents and gifts were truly numerous. Trix loved all creatures great and small.

A memorial will be held on July 11th 2pm at Ravenhill 4411 Bennett Road, Metchosin. All are welcome to come and share our memories of such a great lady.
