May Queen Larson

May was predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick) and sons Lawrence and Bobby.

She is survived by her 6 remaining children, Shameela, Carmen, Richard, Lorraine (Joe), Lisa (Raj), and Louise (Trevor), 29 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and her lifelong friend Sonja and family.

May was born and raised in Victoria but being a devoted mother, she spent her last few years between Victoria and Vancouver to spend time with all of her children, which she shared a special and unique bond with each and every one of them.

May was a true matriarch that was always with family for all of the big milestones such as birthdays, graduations, and school and sporting events. She loved the outdoors, camping, sitting in the sun, going for a boat ride, or just about anything else, as long as she was surrounded by family. Her relationship with her grandkids and great grandkids was truly special, and they were blessed to have spent so much time with her.

We feel fortunate to have mom until she was 90 but we feel robbed because she had so much life left in her. Our lives will never be the same without her. We will love you always and forever miss you.

A funeral service for May will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, British Columbia V8Y1B4.
