Born in Glasgow Scotland, one of 11 siblings Mary grew up surrounded by love, and she
carried that love with her throughout her entire life. Her dedication to family was
unparalleled, and her actions spoke louder than words. Mary was a nurturing soul. Her
selflessness and boundless love created a home filled with laughter, understanding, and a
sense of belonging.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend, touching the lives of those
around her with her unwavering love and generosity. Mary was a mother to Edward,
Elizabeth and Donna. Her great joy was in the love of her family and her 8 grandsons,
Adam, Jeffrey, Sean, Erik(Jaimie), Ryan(Cheyenne), Duncan(Melanie), Holden and Carter.
Mary was also a great-grandmother to Reid, Adeline, Indiana, Sampson and soon to arrive

spirit that radiated joy even in the face of adversity.
Mary cherished family gatherings, creating countless memories through holidays,
birthdays, and simple moments of togetherness. Her joy was contagious, and her ability to
make each family member feel valued and loved was a gift that will forever be cherished.
Mary leaves behind many friends in the communities of Glasgow, Greater Toronto,
Edmonton, Nanaimo and Victoria.
As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound
impact she had on all who knew her. Mary will be dearly missed but forever remembered
