It is with heavy heart and great sadness to share that Mary Lavery passed away peacefully at the age of 85.
Mary was her happiest when taking care of others. A house full of kids, cooking, reading, and the odd brandy was all it took to make her eyes twinkle. Everyone that stopped by Mam and Dad’s house, left with something homemade by her loving hands, we will all miss her pickled onions.
Mary loved a good laugh and she had a keen, sharp sense of humour. Always quick with a comeback that would leave the room in stitches. Mam and Dad, who was the love of her life, were a class act, they went together like salt and pepper. You were always guaranteed lots of love and great laughter in their company.
