She is predeceased by her husband Eric Crawford and 2 of her sons William and Dennis Crawford.
She is survived by her children Gordon (Brenda), Timothy (Sandra), Karen, Lorraine (Robert), Sherry-Lynn (Don), Carolin (Rob) and Kathy (Serge), daughter-in-law Jean, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and her brother Barrie (Anita).
Margaret was a caring, generous and compassionate person who loved gardening, and watching the BC Lions and Seattle Seahawks. Her garden and peach tree were her pride and joy and it would put Butchart Gardens to shame.
She enjoyed her regular gatherings of the Hillside coffee group with Bob, Keith, Don, Diane, Sid, Stan and the cleaning staff at the mall food court.
The family would like to thank the Hospice nurses for everything they did to assist Margaret in her time of need.
A Celebration of life will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks you to consider making a donation to Victoria Hospice or Diabetes Canada.
