His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
With heavy hearts, the daughters of Marilyn Jeanne Yaroshuk announce the unexpected passing of their mother into the hands of her Lord and Savior. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, William Yaroshuk, and her only son, William Shane Yaroshuk, Marilyn is now reunited with them in Glory. She is remembered tenderly and survived by her daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Arne Steien, daughter Patricia McMath and her three deeply cherished grandchildren, Kiyah Yaroshuk, Madison Yaroshuk, and Joshua Steien.
Marilyn was a devoted wife, loving mother, faithful daughter, involved sister, and a true friend. Marilyn enjoyed cooking and entertaining, always welcoming family and friends into her home with open arms. Marilyn's faith in Christ never wavered throughout her life. She and Bill raised their children with these convictions, and she continually extended them to those around her. Marilyn quickly made friends wherever she was. She was kind-hearted, generous, always willing to lend a hand or an ear.
We know we could write endlessly about Marilyn's life but would rather hear from those of you who knew her and loved her. Feel free to share memories, stories, and anecdotes about your time spent with her. We will be planning an online celebration of Marilyn's life, and we will announce the details and date. All will be welcome. If you care to donate to a charity in memory of Marilyn, she asked that you direct it to Diabetes Canada, formally known as the Canadian Diabetes Association. Thank you.
Keep me in Your affectionate care, protect me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me in the protective shadow of Your wings…As for me, I shall see Your face in righteousness. I will be fully satisfied when I awake to find myself seeing Your likeness. Psalm 17:8,15
