Marie was born in Morley, Yorkshire on December 11th, 1930.
She and her family moved from London England to Canada in 1948, and settled in High River Alberta, before moving to Edmonton. In 1954 she met her husband and relocated with him to Sumatra, Indonesia.
The next 25 years saw them settle in many countries worldwide as her husband, Norman, pursued his career. They returned to Canada in 1979, settling in Nanaimo, where Marie volunteered at the Nanaimo hospital for about 34 years. Predeceased by her husband Norman June 2016. She leaves behind her sister Rosaline, brother Bernard (Barbara), her children Barbara (Russ), Marguerite & Jim (Hilary), 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services at a later date.
