Marianne Jane Pitts

She graduated from the Hamilton General Hospital School of Nursing in 1955.

Marianne has been a resident of Broadmead Veterans Memorial Lodge for 5 years and passed peacefully in her sleep on November 23, 2022.

Marianne truly enjoyed the love and kindness in caring that was forever provided by the staff and nurses at Broadmead as they were always willing to go above and beyond.

Special love, caring and attention was provided by her dedicated and loyal friends, Tom and Irmgard Martin.

Marianne was predeceased by her husband Herbert Chesley, Major General, MC, CD on September 27, 2018, as well as her son Danny, [1989] and brother Peter.

Marianne will be missed by her daughter Susan & partner Geoff as well as sons; David & Garry and grandchildren; Sara & Mike.

The cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Service on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm. It will be held at:
