The family sadly announces that Margaret passed away on Christmas Day at Resthaven Lodge, Sidney, B.C. She was born in Vancouver B.C. grew up in the Delta area and moved to Victoria in 1939. Mom loved her home spending many hours in the garden and baking. She was predeceased by her husband Mel in 2000 and daughter Linda in 2016. She is survived by daughter Sharon (Andy), sons Richard (Jeanne), Gordon (Kim), David (Diana) and sister Mary (Tony) of Delta, B.C. Also 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Our thanks to the staff at Resthaven Lodge and especially companion Glenys for their wonderful care that was provided. Her ashes will be interred with husband Mel's at a later date.
