Hazel M. E Kjellander

Hazel married her childhood sweetheart Sky Kjellander on December 31, 1942 in Regina and started their family (Ken and Karen). Hazel and Sky were active in the Lutheran Church and the Kiwanis Club.

Hazel and Sky loved travelling and over the next 38 years explored the world. From Europe, Africa, the Far East and the America’s they journeyed together. Hazel and Sky celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 2007.

Hazel remains in the hearts and minds of all those she shared her life with, especially her extended family that meant so much to her. She is loved and remembered by her son Ken, his children, Kirsten and Sydney, (wife Carol Baker, children Jody and Lindsay), daughter Karen (husband Broc Robertson, children Jason), great-grandchildren Bjorn and Luna, sister Elsie and family, in-laws Marje and Jack and family.

We are grateful to Dr. Buie and the entire staff of Sunrise for their care and comfort of Hazel. The family is having a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society are gratefully appreciated.
