Gwen passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle of Parkinson’s disease. She grew up in Nova Scotia, relocated to Ottawa and eventually retired in Victoria. She is survived by her five children, Carolyn, Doug, Greg, Patricia and Carmen and their spouses. She had eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Gwen’s funeral will be in Victoria and her ashes will be laid to rest beside her predeceased husband of 58 years, David, in Karsdale, Nova Scotia later this spring.
