Fern Alexandra Davidson

Fern is now reunited with Ken, her husband of 33 years, and her loving parents Kay and Jack. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Heather (Gord, and their children Sydney and Connor), Fionna (Mike), Alix (Ivars) and her extended family and many friends.

Born in Victoria, B.C. May 1940, Fern passed at peace with family by her side on April 13, 2025 after facing cancer with courage and grace.

Fern lived a very full and vibrant life beginning with her nursing career, where she met Ken and then had her family. She also filled her life with a multitude of volunteering opportunities - her most meaningful being the “Birth Control Clinic”. Throughout her life she hosted parties, bridge games and book clubs, and her favourite experiences were travelling the world with family and friends, leaving all of us with many cherished memories.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the University Club at UVic, on Wednesday, May 14 at 2 p.m. to which friends and family are welcome.
