Douglas Gerald Cook, age 59 passed away peacefully January 16, 2022 due to sudden pancreatic failure.
Doug was born August 8, 1963 in New York, NY to Gerald and Priscilla. He went to school in Toronto and relocated to British Columbia in the 1990's.
He worked for many years as a landscape gardener, a greensman on film crews and with his team of friends at Saanich Water Works before retiring 2 years ago.
Doug loved nature, art, music and traveling and had many friends around the world. He was a kind, generous and loyal person who truly cared about humanity and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Doug is survived by his sister Barbara and brothers Tom and Bruce, along with their children Alex, Patrick, Kate and Charlie.
Cremation has taken place.
In memory of Doug a donation will be made to Victoria General Hospital.
