Dear Jill - Always so far apart but with happy memories of our visits to each other.  

My memories:  A fantastic stay with you in Canada in Upper Hat Creek all those years ago.  For several days you entertained all of us from UK - the Absalom/Clements/Howe families. The fantasctic horseback camping trip you organised for some of us into the mountains with the Speigt family - it was a totally amazing and a truly memorable trip for us UK visitors.

Your visits to John and myself to our cottage in Somerset England, your birthday celebrations with my other very much missed cousin, your brother Rob & Sally Kemp, & other family members at Tyrrels Wood Golf Club in Surrey, it was a happy reunion of just one small contingent of your UK family.  

Above all I will always remember your humour and your many kindnesses to John and myself.  
Missed but never forgotten.

So many memories  of Jill.
She was a strong Allen woman.
She made the best of some really difficult times in her life, and poured her love and heart into her dogs. 
Despite her losses and grief she was strong and positive.  
Her last words to me were that she’d had a good life and knew that there were many who loved her waiting to greet her on the other side, including her beloved corgis. 
May we all be so lucky.

I knew Jill for 35 years. She was a wonderful friend and mentor in the Corgi breed. We went to a dog show in England in 1998. She was the kindest and genuine lady I've ever known. The world is a worst place without her in it. My condolences.

Well as long time neighbours of Jill when we think of her we think of Corgis. Through the years we saw many puppies and got to know Ed’s L.G.(Little Girl.)
I’m pretty sure that Jill is surrounded by Corgis of all ages, colouring, shapes and sizes right now.
