Dorine Leona Mather, age 92, of Pender Island, British Columbia passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
Dorine was born in Wetaskiwin, AB to Ted and Leona Malmas. She enjoyed figure skating and motorcycling before moving to BC where she worked adminstralvily in several mines and legal offices before joining Herb Ivens and Ottho, Souch and Maguire In Ladner, BC where she enjoyed a long employment
Dorine was predeceased by her husband Wilfred; son Roy, sister Eloise and brother Don.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Lionel as well as many nieces, nephews and their families
Married to Wilfred Mather in November 30, 1951. Resided in Langley for several years when they moved to Kootenay Lake and then to Saturna Island in 1963. SHe moved to Delta, BC in 1965 where her husband found employment with BC Ferries. Retired to their summer home on Pender Island in 1991 where she enjoyed golfing and leisure time with her family.
