Colin who was born in Victoria loved life and when he was young discovered fishing which he greatly enjoyed. He loved being on the water, whether it was catching fish or spotting whales. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, golf and was an avid ten pin bowler. His coffee dates with friends a couple times a week were a special highlight in his later retirement years. He also loved watching his grandsons on the weekends play hockey. Colin was a diehard Canucks fan!
Colin lived many years in Port Alberni where he worked at the Alberni Pulp and Paper Mill. He returned to Victoria in 1980 where he was a taxi driver/owner and then went on to work for the Provincial Government. Over the years Colin met and made amazing lifelong friends.
Colin will be remembered for his humour, generosity and love for family. He will be missed by family and a great loss to a group of close friends. May he rest in peace.
