Carol L Melville

Carol passed away February 13, 2023, at the age of 93.

She was predeceased by her husband, Graham, of 68 years, who passed away only 9 months prior.

She is survived by her sons, Bruce Melville, Will Melville, Trevor Melville, her daughter, Jan Higham, as well as four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Carol was born in Ashcroft, BC, and moved to Kamloops to attend school. After graduating, she attended McGill University in Montreal where she received her degree in physiotherapy. While working as a physiotherapist at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, she met Dr. Gordon Graham Melville. After getting married in April 1954 they moved to the Comox Valley where they raised their family.

Carol had many interests and hobbies. She loved the outdoors and spent time in the garden, as well as hiking, cross country skiing, and golfing. She was also a member of the Order of the Royal Purple.

There is no service by request. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be graciously accepted.
