Brian Gerald Holt

It is with a breaking heart that I announce the passing of my son, Brian, at the age of 46. He was born and raised in Victoria, BC. Brian was active in hockey and baseball and loved music, camping, fishing and was a professional painter. His love for family was monumental. Brian hails from a large family and always lit up family gatherings with his hilarious wit and antics. Brian was predeceased by his infant son, Blane and his father, Gerald. He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Shields (Bill); brother Bob (Stacey); sister Lisa; nephews: Isaiah, Euan, Riley, Ben, and Riaf; nieces: Makena and Aria, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of who adored him.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 4 at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive. A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 7 at the Chief’s and Petty Officers Mess, 1575 Lyall Street, Esquimalt.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Mustard Seed or The Salvation Army.
