Brian Gordon Coutts

He was predeceased by his siblings; Jim, Eileen, Bunty, Betty, Ron, Alan, David and Heather.

He loved his family, his wife of nearly 65 years Dale (née Price); his children Kathy, Gord and Tom ( Susan); his Grandchildren Hunter, Maddy, Austin and Samantha (Matt) and his Greatgrandchildren, Dylan and Halle.

Brian was born in Victoria. He attended Willows elementary & Oak Bay High School. As a young man he worked for Island Tug & Barge under the guidance of Papa Cavin. At age 23, Brian pursued a career with Associates Finance which led to him forming his own Mortgage Broker company; Coutts Investments. He also obtained his Realtors Licence with Gardner Realty. He was devoted to his family, friends and of course…dogs (he was the ‘cookie man’). He loved horse racing, golfing and being on the ocean. He was a wonderful teacher with unlimited patience. He had a great sense of humor; with a one-liner and a smirk, a trait which he has passed to his kids, Grandkids and Greatgrandkids. No wonder we will miss him so much.

A celebration of life will be held at Colwood Golf Course Sat March 9th from 1:00 to 3:00 In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
