Mom had a knack for helping people solve their problems and thus helping them see new ways to view the situation or difficulty. She always had time to talk and listen to family and friends. This thoughtfulness was extended to people she did not know; including street beggars saying, “how’s the pickings today?” while she promptly added money to their hat – whatever she had.
Mom took her time leaving us. Some call it “the long goodbye”, but that is what God planned. The family watched her leave slowly. The smaller she got, the bigger the shadow she cast! Mom brought many, many souls to the Lord!
So let us all be happy for Mum now as she walks into the Cathedral of Heaven and into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Quoting Daniel 12:3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightest stars of the sky above and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever!! -Amen
