Passed away peacefully at the age of 98, Alice worked as an LPN for many years on Gynecology at The Grace General Hospital in St. John’s, Newfoundland. This was a position she cherished, receiving an award for industriousness. She was also a member of the YSAG at the Malahat Legion and enjoyed playing cards there and socializing with her many friends.
She is predeceased by her husband, Jack Tucker (1926 – 2000), her companion, Albert Arsenault (1931 – 2014), son’s Paul Tucker (1946 – 1986), Chris Tucker (1951 – 1992), John Tucker (1956 – 1994).
She leaves to mourn her daughter’s Barbara Wiethe, Scyrita Tucker (Gerald Billings), Sherry Tucker, son, Patrick Tucker, daughter’s in law, Brenda Tucker and Rose Hurlburt-Tucker, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Services to be held at St. Frances Xavier Church, 790 Kilmalu Rd at 11 am on August 10, 2024, with the Celebration of Life to follow at noon on the same property.
