I went to school with Rob, He helped write the class of '77 prophesy. Quite a talent. Rob was my neighbor, always friendly.  We ran on the cross-country team. At Bob Schul Invitational in West Milton the runner behind him stepped on his shoe and it split coming of his foot. This caused Rob to trip and roll down the hill passing 5 other runners. Rob looked up and there was the coach who told him to get up and finish the race. Rob did and showed his fortitude!
      Another time, a grade school play, a skit about patriotism freedom fighters. Rob wore this long t-shirt a tunic and carried a homemade prop rifle. It was the only one that didn't look out of place.

You have our family's sincere condolences upon the death of Rob. He was quite the character indeed. I knew Rob since he was little and I babysat the kids. He could pull my strings! Nothing his dad wouldn't do. Always polite though and would help out if I asked. I am sure God had a place picked out for him. A special place. 🙄

The Guillozet family was a great family to grow up around in Bucktown. I have fond memories of Red and my friends and I wrestling and ganging up on him as he was much older and bigger. It was like the big time wrestling on tv with the talk and showmanship. Of course we all knew Rob “Red”was great, but we all played the part he was the “bad guy”.  I can’t tell you how many times he fixed my bike, as I like to jump anything available. As we got older we liked to swing by the shop get a pop and say hi. He will truly be missed, and was without a doubt one of kind. RIP Red, and thanks for treating a neighborhood kid like family. Even if you did cheat to win the wrestling matches!!

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss.  I haven’t seen him in years, but he was  such a pleasant dude when I did know him.  You have my most sincere condolences.

Mrs. Guillozet, Joyce & Kim, Rob was a good guy who wouldn't do or say anything bad about anyone.  He & your dad always welded our basketball hoop when it broke & wouldn't take payment for it. I have fond memories of the cart your dad made for Snoopy, we logged some miles on that. He also made a raft from trailer Styrofoam & we went up & down Swamp creek on it like Huck Finn.  Many, many fond Bucktown memories.  RIP old neighbor & friend.

Please accept my honest condolences. As time goes by, I pray that you find strength and peace of mind in people who are surrounding you and the pleasant memories stored deep in your heart.

Very sorry to hear of Rob's passing.  Prayers for the family.

I'm very glad that he was able to make it to our last reunion.  We enjoyed his company and stories.

He will be missed!

I have such fond memories of Rob. He was the starting center for his 8th grade basketball team that was the upset winner of a league championship tournament. If I am not mistaken, that was the first-ever event held for the brand new Three Rivers Conference, which officially would officially begin play the following fall. “I’ve never been this far before!”  was Rob’s excited and  too frequently repeated statement to his teammates as they dressed for the 1994 Final, vs. a previously undefeated Graham squad,. As memory serves, he was eventually emphatically convinced to shut up, while suiting up in  my 8th grade English classroom, which was serving as a locker room that day. 

A few years later, Rob was the crazy DJ for quite a few jr.high dances, where I was the chaperone in charge. “‘A,” “and,” and “the” are ALWAYS adjectives’”  was posted on the embroidered sign that he attempted  to explain to whichever current 8th graders happened to venture too close to his stack of recordings. He definitely enjoyed playing tunes for those youngsters. 

I will also certainly miss encountering Goose during some of his many walks around town, when we both would pause to roam down memory lane together.  A memorable character, indeed.

RIP Big Red.  You were always fun to be with.  I have many fond memories of the family gatherings.

Phyllis, Joyce & Kim,  Sorry to hear of Rob’s or otherwise known  to me as Goose’s passing. Your families are in my thoughts and prayers. Us Bucktown kids sure share a lot of memories! The pop bottle machine in the shop was the best!
