Douglas Crowell

Douglas C. Crowell, 78 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Friday September 27, 2024 at 10:53 PM at his residence. Doug was born February 7, 1946 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of the late Chalmer and Delight E. (Hill) Crowell.

Doug worked at Hobart Manufacturing in Troy as an InfoPac Administrator; he was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Willowdell then a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in North Star; he enjoyed painting, traveling and working.

Doug is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Andrea Crowell; his granddaughter, Rachel Henry; his brothers in law, Robert Brown and George E. Jess; and his sister in law, Susan K. Jess.

Doug is survived by his wife, Patricia (Oehrtman) Crowell of Versailles; his daughter and son in law, Arianne and Ron Henry of Versailles; his grandchildren, Madison, and Gracie; his twin brother and sister in law, C. Dane and Karen Crowell; his sisters and brother in law, Mary Jane Favorite and husband Nick Engler, Joyce Crooks; his sister in law, Nancy Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday October 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church 13495 Greenville St. Marys Road, North Star, Ohio with Pastor Deb Monnin and Pastor Becky Strang officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services on Thursday at the church. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, North Star or Hospice of Miami County.
