Peggy Anne Michels Brown

1935-2011

Peggy was born on

November 6th, 1935

in Revelstoke, BC and

passed away peacefully

on Wednesday,

February 9th, 2011 at

the North Okanagan

Hospice House.

She will be sorely

missed by Barrie, her

loving husband of 54

years; her two daughters, Wendi Shirriff (Brian

Wildenbeest), and Julie Brown (Brent Crowell);

her son Randy (Leona Dieno); along with fi ve

grandchildren: Aynsley, Katherine, Emma, Rylan

and Sophie; her eldest brother, Merle Michels

(Marge); numerous nieces, nephews and her many

friends and extended family. Peggy was predeceased

by her parents and her youngest brother, Raymond

(Jack) Michels.

Peggy was a wonderful wife, caring mother and dear

friend. Being with Peggy always meant sharing lots

of laughs, and poking fun at life. We will all miss

her deep love, sparkling eyes, warm smile, sharp

wit and clever sense of humour.

A Celebration of Peggy’s Life will be held on

Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the

chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral home with Mr

Brian Jackson offi ciating. A reception will follow

in the Pleasant Valley Tea room.

We would like to thank the nurses, care staff, and

volunteers at the North Okanagan Hospice House

for making Peggy’s last few days easier and more

peaceful for us all. We would also like to thank Drs.

Jeannette Henley, Islam Mohamed and Michael

Shirriff for their support and guidance.
