Adam was born on May 28, 1978 in 100 Mile House, the son of Timothy and Laurel Keating.
He attended high schools in Kelowna and Vernon. He completed the Heavy Equipment Operator’s Course, and was an avid weight lifter.
Adam also had a very kind heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He often helped others in need.
Family was very important to Adam, and he stayed in close contact with his loved ones. Adam strongly desired to have children of his own.
Adam was predeceased by his father Timothy Keating, uncle Bill Keating, grandparents Doris McDonald-Keating, Alan Grant; great grandparents: Phyllis and Clarence Hendrickson, and Adelaide Grant and his girlfriend, Jenessa Brown.
Adam is survived by his mother Laurel Keating (Paul) of Lumby; his siblings Zack Smith, Rebecca (Brad), Amanda (Alessandro), and Corey Keating and his son Jordan. He leaves his maternal grandparents Beverly and Alf Fester. Also survived by his grandmother Marion Grant and several aunts, uncles, and close friends, and Rob Smith and Paul Volker who both played a very supportive part in Adam’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Whitevalley Community Resource Centre (WCRC) to the legacy fund or a general donation for programs at Whitevalley. Cheques can be made out to Whitevalley Community Resource Centre and mailed to Box 661, Lumby, BC V0E 2G0, or dropped off at the office, 2114 Shuswap Avenue in Lumby. 250-547-8866..
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, 4303 Pleasant Valley Road. Arrangements are in the care of Vernon Funeral Home 250-542-0155.
