As a life long friend of the family it breaks me heart I’m this time I will always remember the warming words and wisdom and support Steve and his family has always give me. He and his family will forever be my extended family, he will greatly be missed by everyone, he always had a joke to share a smile to put on a face and always put other before him. 

I met Steven in 2011. Him and Karen let me live there for while. When I met him for the first time, he was full of energy, loved to joke around A LOT and overall generous man. He would make you dinner without asking him, make you a coffee, whatever. He was VERY talkative and sometimes him and I would go on for hours at times talking about God, politics, humor, life in general. Even to his final days he was in a joking mood, which I found to be incredible and someone to look up to for positivity.  It was an absolute honor and joy to know him. I saw him as another father figure in my life, and he will be missed severely.

My sympathies to all the family, he was a really nice man, I often met him walking that dog and he was always cheerful and never had a bad word to say. We had many chats over the years as fellow parents...I hope he is resting peacefully now. 

My dad was the best, he loved to laugh and joke around all the time. He loved his family, his animals and his best friend Chomp. He would feed the squirrels and love to take in nature. He was a proud father and loved his family. He fought very hard many times and we are proud of him too. We couldn't have asked for a better father and a fighter. It's time you sleep now dad and I will one day see you again. ❤🙏 (I can't forget about how much he loved his food 😁)
