We gather here today to celebrate the life of John Bak, a cherished soul whose presence was a blessing in our lives. John was the beloved son of Joseph and Margaret Bak, a caring brother to Joe, Barbara, Eugene, and Margaret, and a devoted father to Justin. He was also a loving stepfather to a blended family including Raven and Brittany and a doting grandfather. John found his partner in life, Doreen, becoming her husband and soulmate.

Today, we say farewell to our beautiful angel, John. Rest in peace, for your pain has ended and your thoughts are now serene. John's spirit was vibrant; he was an outgoing man who found joy in laughter and in bringing smiles to the faces of those around him. His sense of humor was unmatched, and his ability to light up a room was unparalleled.

John had a passion for building plastic models - planes, ships, and tanks, with a particular affinity for military models. He also found solace and joy in fishing, embracing the tranquility and challenge it offered.

John and Doreen’s love story began on a blind date, set up by friends, and blossomed over 14 years filled with shared interests, laughter, and countless adventures. They did everything together, exploring the world and cherishing every moment spent in each other's company.

Johnny, your legacy will live on through the stories we share and the memories we hold dear. Today, we celebrate you, a remarkable man who touched the lives of so many. Your spirit will forever guide us, and your memory will always be a source of comfort and strength.
