Rodolfo Ruiz

Rodolfo “Rudy” Ruiz, 76, of Camarillo CA. He passed away on Monday, July 9th, 2018, surrounded by his family.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He was known for his generosity and willingness to help. He worked at Westlake Village Golf Course as a Superintendent for over 45 years. There he enjoyed his time maintaining the course while developing his love and skills in Golf. You could always find him at his favorite location such as Cronies in Camarillo enjoying his breakfast and mimosa, at the Derby Club placing his bets on the ponies, and The Moose Lodge where he and his wife would wind down for the evening enjoying their cocktails. At home he enjoyed his time watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play amongst the fruit trees he planted while laughing and enjoying his time with his wife and children.

He is survived by his Wife of 50 years Gloria Ruiz, Daughter Maggie, Son’s Rodolfo “Rudy Jr” and Jose Edurado “Pepe”; His Grandchildren Felicia Amelia, Alyssa Marrie, Marie Pheebe, Aiden Rodolfo, Maddy Elizabeth, Mayson Tadeo, Sister Josefina Ortiz; Great grandchildren Tye Rayne, Bailey Star and Jayce King. Also left behind were many nieces, nephews among other extended family and friends.

He is preceded by his Mother and Father Jose and Amelia Ruiz and his brothers and sisters, Daniel, Antonio, Rafeal, Pablo, Ruben, Matilde, Estela, and Abigail.

Rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 17th 2018 at 6:30 pm at Saint Mary Magdalen Church on 25 N Las Posas Rd, Camarillo CA. Funeral Mass will be held on July 18th 2018 at 10am at Saint Mary Magdalen Chapel on 2532 Ventura Blvd, Camarillo CA. Burial will follow immediately at the Conejo Mountain Memorial Park.
