I was so sad to hear about Melissa's passing. She was a student of mine at VC, and the sweetest of gals. Her talents were amazing! Inside and out a beautiful person and the world indeed misses her. My prayers are with your family at this time and forever.

I am so sorry to hear about Melissa.   My prayers and thoughts are with the entire family.   I remember when she was a student at HCS.  I loved whenever I would see her as she grew up.

Unselfishly, she freely gave all her talents, her thoughts, her gifts, her hope, never keeping them to herself, but igniting love out to all. And just like a single flame in a dark room once shares its' light with a dry wick, and then another, and they then all share their flame, darkness must surrender to glorious light. That is Melissa.  A light.  One that lives on.

Mellisa was such a wonderful and amazing young lady. She always provided a positive example for everyone around her. She fought with great courage and hope, and her life will remain an inspiration to all who knew her. I know you were very proud of her. May you find peace and comfort in the knowledge that she is now with God, that she is in no more pain and that she has received her eternal reward in heaven. I have no words to make you feel any better or to offer any real relief from your pain. All my family can say is that we are so terribly sorry. I loved Melissa and will miss her so so much.

I was so sad to hear of Melissa's passing. I got to know many students at EAC. She was always a favorite. Despite all the challenges she faced in her too short life, she had such a sweet spirit and positive outlook...as well as a mischievous sense of humor. She never sought pity. She just wanted to live her life as best she could. I wish I could be at the memorial to share memories and grief with the EAC family. My best wishes to her family for comfort in their time of sorrow knowing that they raised a lovely young woman who touched many lives.

I know I have never met a more beautiful, kinder, thoughtful and funner young woman than Melissa...from the first time we met at the beach she never ceased to amaze me...her words always had such wisdom and humor and optimism....she was nothing short of remarkable. I wish I had the joy of knowing her longer....as I'm certain all that crossed paths with her would wish for too. There just aren't words for how much a loss this is...all my love to the family.

The passing of Melissa was heartbreaking news! Her amazing way to light up a room, wonderful sense of humor and brave fight will be what I remember about her. I was not lucky enough to know here for many years but the time I have known her and her parents I felt lucky to be a small part of this gracious young womens life. May she rest in peace, find relief from her life long battle with cancer and be the shinning star above us that she was her on earth! Love, thoughts and prayers to the family.

I am so sorry to read about Melissa's passing.  I was her first grade teacher at Hueneme Christian School.   I always remember her precious smile and kindness to others.  My prayers are with you and pray God's comfort now and during the days ahead.

I've known Melissa since the very early 2000s. We didn't spend much time together in Jr. High but we got closer in high school. We had a group of friends who would hang out at lunch and swap stories about anything and everything. We kept one another very entertained almost every day. 

We got to hang out through college too, but didn't see each other as much there. We still kept each other entertained though. I wish we could have spent more time together, but I cherished every minute we spent together. I will miss her very much.

Melissa was one of the sweetest, kindest & most compassionate people I've ever known. She will be missed by everyone whose lives she impacted for the better. I'm better off for having known her & we can take comfort in knowing that she is with God now. We had many good times & I will always especially remember our tour of the Sri Racha Factory.

I went to school with Melissa.She was always a sweet, caring,smart person and I am so sorry for her loss.

Melissa what's my friend and mentor in the inspiration to me I met her through XMO I've known her for roughly 6 years I love to like a sister she had such a smile in such a laugh that was infectious and I will miss her every day and I also want remember God is good  God is merciful and that this is not goodbye forever it's just goodbye for now although the strength of time will be a struggle for all of us to handle she will always be near and dear to our hearts and always have a little piece Melissa inside of us  we love you me Melissa and I send my regards to your family but your love your happiness will shine like the sun every day and we will always love you
