Margaret Grace Vibbart

Margaret was born in Lebanon, Tennessee on October 5, 1935 and lived there until 1956. Margaret married her childhood sweetheart, Fred, on Valentine’s Day 1953 and they settled in Ventura, California. Fred was Margaret’s devoted, beloved husband and they were happily married for 65 years. Margaret was a beautiful wife and mother. Her gift was hospitality and she opened her home to everyone. She loved her family and friends, and liked nothing more than to laugh together over a shared meal. She had great faith in the Lord and that faith has carried her through after losing the love of her life.

Margaret follows her husband Fred in death, who passed away on July 19, 2016. She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Debbie Guthrie and Janet Danner and husband Ray; son, Dan Vibbart and wife Debbie; 8 loving grandchildren, Matthew Guthrie and wife Rhondi, Nicole Guthrie-Sullivan and husband Dustin, Joshua Guthrie, Joel Danner and wife Anissa, Lucas Danner and wife Alexis, Dillon Vibbart, Cody Vibbart, Kayla Vibbart; 4 great grandchildren, Jacob Guthrie, Kamryn Guthrie, Madeline Guthrie, and Eleanor Danner.

Her wisdom, warmth, and wit will be missed by our family.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Margaret’s life at a memorial service which will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2:00 pm, at Ventura First Assembly of God, 346 N. Kimball Rd., Ventura CA 93004.
