Margaret J. Herron

On April 25, 2010, Peggy Herron, 75, of Ventura, went home to live with her heavenly father and reunite with family. She was born November 29, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio, to Thomas and Martha Webb, and had been a Ventura County resident 40 years, coming from Riverside. She passed away peacefully on a beautiful spring day, celebrating a full and rich life here on earth.

Peggy, Mom, Nany loved her family and was a true example of pure love and dedication. We will all miss her, but know she lives on and is celebrating her reunion with her son, Keith; mother and father; and even her best friend and pet beagle, Beau.

Peggy loved her family above all else. She loved being a companion to her husband, Ray, of 55 years. Peggy was able to witness the birth of her three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and had hoped to see the birth of two more this summer. Her life was a celebration. She loved to travel with Ray, and they have seen the world together. She enjoyed camping, playing piano, writing poetry, and painting. She even rode motorcycles with her family for a season, and liked playing the slot machines and video poker on her many travels to the casinos.

We will miss her beautiful smile and sweet spirit.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Raymond Herron; son and daughter-in-law, John Scott and Julie Herron of Rohnert Park, Calif.; granddaughter, Tiffani Wright, of Mesa, Ariz.; grandsons, Dustin Herron, of Mesa, Ariz., and Mitchell Herron, of South Jordan, Utah; great-grandchildren, Seth Wright, Tessa Wright, Kali Herron, Scotty Thomas Wright, and Marshall Raymond Herron.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, April 29, 1010 at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Rd. Private interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 1996 Eastman Ave., Ventura, CA 93003.
