Kristen R Perry

With love, we announce the passing of Kristen Renee Perry, born October 3, 1960, in Ventura, CA. Kristen passed away on June 30, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Each and every day was met with dignity, grace and a sense of humor. Kristen selflessly touched the lives of so many people in a positive way. Her joy and zest for life was contagious.

She was an accomplished cook and loved entertaining for her family and friends. Kristen had a natural gift of transforming any space into her own unique vision of beauty and warmth. Traveling was a favorite activity. A much loved tradition was an annual family trip to Catalina Island.

Kristen is survived by her loving husband, Bruce Conaway; parents, Mickey and Patty Perry; sisters, Candace Cobos (Martin) and Tracy Neitz (Jim); and brother Mark Perry. Aunt Krissy’s greatest joys in life were her nieces and nephew; Christina Cobos (22), Martin Cobos (20), Emily Neitz (12), Grace Neitz (7) and Ginger Perry (8). She is also survived by her extended family and many wonderful friends.

Kristen’s beautiful, beaming smile brought warmth to all who knew her. She was one of kindest human beings that ever walked this earth.

To honor Kristen’s request, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a cancer foundation of your choice.
