Joan M. Carr

Joan was married to her sweetheart, Thomas "Bob" Carr, for 66 years. Together they lived many places such as L.A., Lakewood, San Diego and even Alaska before settling in Ventura where they raised their 3 children. Joan loved to watch ice skating, working in her garden, playing bridge and being active in her church; but most of all she loved her family.

Joan now leaves behind her husband Thomas Carr; daughter Barbara Cranfill; son Philip (wife Lani) Carr; son Thomas (wife Robin) Carr; sister Shirley (husband John) Dackawich; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and lots of friends.

A private family burial will take place Fri. April 22nd with a "Life Celebration" following at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 38 Teloma Dr., Ventura 93003.
