Donna Jeanne Schoeffler

Donna Jeanne Schoeffler (Taylor) passed away peacefully surrounded by family, November 29th, 2016, in Ventura, CA, at the age of 81. She was born June 11, 1935 in Tulsa, OK, to Frank and Etta Taylor.

Donna was a 1953 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. She married the love of her life, Bill Schoeffler on April 19,1953, at Enid, OK. She and Bill had 3 sons; Gene, Glen, and Gary. They lived most of their married life in Broken Arrow until 1998, when they moved to California. Since her grandson Rex was born in 2003, Donna has been a doting grandmother seeing him almost every day!

She will be dearly missed. Donna is survived by her son, Gary, wife Lisa; grandson, Rex; sister in laws, Betty Taylor and Virginia Willets; brother in law, Ed Schoeffler; and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 2000; sons, Gene in 1990 and Glen 2002; her brothers, Frank and Ralph Taylor; and her parents.

A graveside service with be held Tuesday, December 6, 2016, 2:00 P.M., at Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 South 129th East Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Ventura Baptist Church – Jubilee Class, 5415 Ralston Street, Ventura, CA 93003.

“I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also”. 2 Timothy 1:5 Her legacy will forever be in our hearts.
