Devin Morris

Devin was born in Ventura, CA on April 18, 1989, the son of Heidi Morris, Jeffrey Allen Hill and Charles Ray Morris.

In the last years of his life he made his mission to help himself, so in return he would be able to help others in his home town. Receiving his GED in 2013 and soon after attending Ventura Community College, to explore history, philosophy and political science. He had found his spark and passion for working hard for what he wanted.

Although Devin Morris’ life was cut short when it had just begun he will always be remembered and survived by his parents, Heidi and Jeffrey; brothers, Eric Morris, Jeffrey Hill Jr., Manuel Hill; cousins, Greg Anderson, Mark Elliot Thomas; best friends, Ivan Hernandez, Rafael Contras and so many more friends and family.

Devin is preceded in death by his uncle, Shane Poehler; grandfather, Arnold Poehler “Papa”; grandmother, Dolores Poehlor “Nanie” and dog Wiskey.

Funeral Services for Devin will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 2pm at Charles Carroll Funeral Home, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura 805-642-8134.
