He was a 1962 graduate at East Hartford High School. After high school, John joined the Navy and served in Vietnam. After his time in the service he settled in Connecticut before moving to Englewood, Florida.
Englewood was a place of happiness where he lived his best life with his family and friends. He enjoyed being out on the water and fishing. He was also an avid pool player, playing on The Englewood Pool League for over 40 years. Pool Team name “A Lost Boy”.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Judy. He leaves behind his sister, Joyce and Leo Gagliardi. And children Uwe Roehrl (Kimberly), Max Roehrl, And Marion Macy (Scott Macy), Lisa Burchard (Jack), Heidi Andrew’s (Antone). Along with nieces nephews and grandchildren.
