Steven Erik Runyan

Steve passed away due to complications surrounding an over abundant love of life, helping other people, and radiating tremendous energy.

Steve is survived by his loving wife Penny, daughters Jill and Julie, son Erik, and 5 grandchildren. Steve missed meeting his first great grandchild by one week. While the Great Grandchild introduction was sadly missed, the earth retains a warm glow, and his loving legacy will surely embrace this beautiful child.

Tomorrow and the rest of time have been declared a celebration. Blessed are we to have witnessed a revelation. I am here to report that it is possible to not take life too seriously. We need to approach each meal with great respect, lift a glass and celebrate the company you keep, and following the conclusion of any event by immediately beginning to planning the next.

It is necessary to greet each person you meet with a minimum of three hiya’s. “Hiya, Hiya, Hiya”. Anything less is simply inadequate.

Somehow his family is bolstered knowing that he and his beloved German Shorthair ‘Fergie’ are reunited and they are taking their first of many walks.
