Jerry Ralph Travis

Jerry is survived by step-son Dale Level of Redding, CA; two daughters Julie Faulkner (Bob) of Lakehead, CA and Terri Dickson (Larry) of Washougal, WA; sister Yvonne Perkins of Kellogg, ID, brother John "Bud" Travis of Osburn, ID, sister Linda Miller of Redding, CA and brother Reggie Travis of Wallace, ID.

While Jerry was a wood worker for nearly 30 years, he took pride in being a lay minister. He was a kind and sympathetic Christian who prayed for others often and was there when he was needed most. Jerry would spend much time discussing God and preaching. He also enjoyed playing guitar and singing gospel.

He was also the jack of all trades. There was nothing he could not do! From electrical to small engines, Jerry did it all. The one thing he did not do was - travel by plane. He enjoyed taking road trips only for travel.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Shirley (Colon) Travis, who passed in 2010; daughter Lori Withrow; father John Travis and mother Gladys; three sisters Wilma Jean Travis, Loretta Fausett and Judy Flathers; and brother Herb Travis.

He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was very proud of children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all.
