Jay Burton Witte

Jay was raised in New Mexico, attending Estancia High School and New Mexico State University. He spent his career working at Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 2004, Jay moved to Battle Ground, Washington to be near his children and granddaughter.

Jay is survived by his children, Elise Conlee and Eric Witte; granddaughter, Zoe Conlee; brother Jerry Witte & his wife Fita Witte; nephews, Jeff and Jon Witte, & their wives Janet and Stacie Witte; great-nephew Jeremy Witte and great-nieces Sydney, Carlie Shea, and Jennifer Witte. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Vista; and son-in-law, Evan.

Burial will be private. A Memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to the Clark County Food Bank ((360) 693-0939 or clarkcountyfoodbank.org.
