where she graduated from Grant High School and later attended Business College.
In 1945, she married Harry E. Parker and over the years, they built a successful earth-moving business together. Annabel also enjoyed her time working
at the First Independent Bank.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church since the 1950's. Annabel loved traveling with her friend Ruthie Beedle to places like Europe
Canada and New York. The two had many adventures together and were life-long friends. She enjoyed playing tennis and golf, art and the theater.
Survivors include her daughter, Sally Parker, of Olympia, WA; son, James Parker and his wife, Paula Suthern of Battle Ground, WA; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Virginia Coffey; and brother, John Velaga.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 9:00am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Vancouver, WA.
In lieu of flowers, Annabel asked that donations be sent to Second Chance Companions, PO Box 2343, Battle Ground, WA 98604.
